Dedicated to the highest quality of education and performance for all.

Mission

My mission is to be accessible as an educator and performer for all diversities across the globe. I believe in evoking powerful feelings through my work and inspiring others. Within the Musical Theatre world, I strive to convey my talents to all and impact the community, whether it be regionally or nationally, for the better. I believe, through my work, people should feel compelled to say more than just “good job.”

Goals

My Goals in this career are simply to collaborate and create meaningful projects that can be used throughout people’s lives. When working with artists it is important to be on time, fun to work with, and pleasant to be around. I strive to uphold those attributes always exemplifying what they mean through my collaborations, creations, and studies.

Percussion

As a percussionist I work to create the best soundscape across all percussion. I have a background in studying Afro-Cuban music as well as a strong study in orchestral percussion and timpani. I have studied with Josh Ryan at Baldwin Wallace, Jonathan Haas at NYU, and Jim Saporito at NYU.

Conducting

At NYU Steinhardt, I have had the privilege of studying with Ted Sperling and David Bloom. Working as Ted Sperling’s assistant for both his NYU course and summer intensive has given me experience in conducting a full orchestra at length. Opportunities with the recording studio and working with student composers has shown me how to work quickly and effectively in a short period of time.

Drumset

I have had the pleasure of freelancing in the greater NYC area since moving here in 2021. Notable venues include, The York Theatre, Green Room 42, 54 Below, Carnegie Hall, and Theatre Row. Playing at these venues in multiple styles and concerts have helped me grow as a musician.

Arranging, Composing, & Orchestration

In 2018 I started arranging for an all-male a cappella group at Baldwin Wallace University. From there I began to compose for piano, voice, and percussion ensemble. Since 2020 I have started to do even more arranging and orchestrating for varying size ensembles and styles.

“Without music, life would be a blank to me.”
